Poker Room and Sports Book
Since the Rio hosts the World Series of Poker, you would think the Rio Poker Room would be one of the largest and nicest in Vegas, right? Wrong on both accounts. The Poker Room is little more than a make-shift alcove to the sports book with 10 tables. The tables are nicely spaced but the chairs are crummy vinyl.

VNI at the Rio
Vince Neil of Motley Crue owns this tattoo shop. They also sell Vince Neil memorabilia.
If you like casinos that are loud, sonically and visually, then the Rio is for you. The rooms are large, although the layout is not well thought out and seems to waste a lot of space. The Voodoo Lounge on the top of the Rio has one of the best views in Vegas.
The floor to ceiling windows allow for great views, but also make it hard for the air conditioning to cool the room on hat summer days. The pools are nice, but close too early. Complaints about high table minimums for an off-strip property.
The rooms are called suites, but are really just large rooms with a separate sitting area with a couch and chairs. All rooms have refrigerators. The floor to ceiling windows all for great views of either the mountains or the strip.
