Mavens Overview: NY NY
This was the best themed casino in Vegas, that did an excellent job of carrying the theme from the outside throughout the inside of the Hotel and Casino. However, they have jumped on the current Vegas Zeitgeist, and are de-emphasizing the theme as much as possible. The High-Limit area that was a imitation of Central Park is gone. Too bad, we miss the original New York New York.
Internet Buzz: NY NY
People that stay at NY NY like the location at the far south end of the Strip. Some reports of thin walls that allow noise from adjacent rooms to bleed into yours, also comments that the rooms were a bit on the dark side. Overall, most patrons report being satisfied with the accomodations.

A smaller Hotel by Vegas standards, only 2,000 rooms. The rooms are small to average, nicely furnished, but below the level of the top resorts.

Roller coaster and Midway Arcade
The rollercoaster that wraps completely around the outside of New York New York, duration 2 minutes 45 seconds. At the entrance to the rollercoaster is a large arcade complete with carnival midway type games plus video games.
