One of two Strip Hotels squarely aimed at families. From the turreted castle facade to the vast arcade areas, even the Tournament of Kings show is targeted towards families with young children. Additionally, the price of rooms here tend to be among the most reasonable on the Strip, another nod toward families with young children.

Many comments along the lines, good hotel for the price. More than a few comments that the casino is smoky, even by Vegas standards. Some noted the contradictory notions of kid friendly casino and go-go girls dancing on stages at various places around the casino. The newly renovated pool area gets high marks.

The Hotel is large, even by Vegas standards, with over 4,000 room. The 1,000 newly remodeled "Wide screen Rooms" are more desirable than the older standard rooms. Wide screen refers to the 42" plasma screen television in the rooms. Rooms have showers only.

Dick's Last Resort
This place is known for their loud and obnoxious staff, and their intentional rudeness to patrons. Everyone gets a paper hat, which the server will write something, hopefully funny, most likely vulgar. The portions tend toward large and fried. Live cover bands play here regularly.
