The Plaza looks nice from the outside. Inside the casino, which is large by downtown standards, is usually quiet and fairly empty. The hotel rooms get poor reviews, there are better places to stay that cost about the same. Hopefully the new owners will renovate the hotel.
You get what you pay for, and these rooms are cheap. The hotel rooms are old and not in good shape. Not very clean. The rooms are musty. The hotel staff get mixed to poor reviews.
A down on its luck hotel.
