Mavens Overview
Located on the far end of the Fremont Street Experience. Not one of the better downtown properties. Perhaps best known for very poor elevators service. On a positive note, there is a krispy Kreme outlet on site. Until recently the doughnuts were made at the Fitzgeralds, however due to declining business they are now made at another location and delivered daily.
The Vue Bar balcony is a nice place to sip a beverage while watching the activity down below on Fremont Street.
Internet Buzz
Many comments about poor elevator service. The beds get poor reviews, and still have old-style bedspreads, no triple sheeted beds here. Some higher floor rooms have good views. The hotel staff get mixed reviews.
Hotel Overview
34 story tower has 638 rooms, all with in-room safes and coffee makers. Medium sized rooms, with modest furnishings. Nothing fancy, more recently remodeled rooms are available at the nearby Fremont and Four Queens.

Comedian Kevin Burke Performs nightly in second floor showroom. When not performing at Fitzgeralds, Kevin performs in "Defending the Caveman" at Excalibur. More, please.

An Murder Mystery dinner show. The show is interactive with the audience, with actors interspersed with audience members.Both the show and the dinner garner favorable internet buzz. More, please.

Combination coffee shop and full buffet, neither of which are very good.
