Mavens Overview

Befitting the Bellagio Hotel, their two story, 65,000 square foot Spa is a masterpiece of aesthetic design. The spa offers a seemingly endless choice of therapies, ranging from traditional Swedish Massage to newer formulations, like Watsu Massage, which combines Shiatsu stretches in a warm water pool.

Some of the treatments sound absolutely delicious, like the Caviar Fusion Facial or the Deep Coconut Surrender Massage. They even have a special massage for Expecting Mothers.

The Salon offers everything from a traditional wet shave for men to airbrush make-up, presumably for women. Hair styling are also available for both Men and Women.

The Co-ed Fitness Center, in addition to cardio and weight equipment, offers personal training instruction and classes in Pilates, Boxing for Fitness and Yoga.

Internet Buzz

If you can only afford ($ or time) to do one thing at the spa... it's got to be the Vichy shower.
You go into a room with a table with multiple shower heads above it. The table is covered with towels and is very comfortable. You lay on it and choose a scrub. The spa technician then uses the exfoliative and scrubs your whole body. It's a massage with a scrub with shower heads all hitting you at once. It's perfect. I've tried the Vichy shower in many other places and this is the best one.

The steam room is the best out of any of the other spas I've been to so far.  It's really a eucalyptus steam room

The spa is beautiful, spacious and ginormous!  I paid for the 50 min. Therapeutic Fusion Massage.  My masseuse was amazing!  She not only took out all my knots on my shoulders but she did it in a way where it didn't hurt while removing the knots.

The facilities in the women's area make my bathroom at home look like an outhouse.

Heaven is - acres of this gorgeous spa....
A pedicure so relaxing I almost fell asleep.
A milk and honey body scrub/wrap/shower treatment to die for.

They sure paid attention to detail. From the moment you step into the elevator, you know you're going to have a relaxing experience. The mood lighting, from the fabulous "tropical rain" style showers to my private massage room, constantly changed from a relaxing green to orange to pink. It really created a lovely ambiance fit for a nice spa.

As always, there is some negative buzz.

I was so excited to try the spa here after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, it did not come even close to meeting my standards. I tried the Raindrop Therapy and did not feel any different then when I first came in there... The spa itself is huge and beautiful and the showers are great too, but that's about the only thing I can give it.
